How do I sign up?

Sign-ups will be available through a form shared in the #announcements channel. Fill in your Discord name, in-game username, time zone, and availability. Once submitted, you’ll be assigned to a group.

What is the format of the tournament?

Teams are placed a bracket to play rounds consecutively. Each team plays a best of 3 of 2v2 matches as each round progresses. Losing teams are placed into a losers bracket in a best of 3 series for a second chance of reaching the finals.

How many matches do I play per round?

You will play between 2 and 3 matches per round. With the grand final to be played in a best of 7. The team coming from the Winners Bracket will have the advantage of selecting the first map from a limited map pool.

 ​

Can I play the same civilization more than once?

No, you must change your civilization once you have already played with them.

What maps are used?

Maps will be set selected from a standard 2v2 team map pool. No map will be repeated within the same round.

How long do I have to complete my matches?

There is no required time limit to complete matches. However if you have not played your round match in its full series within 1 week of it being scheduled you will be disqualified.

Where do I report match results?

Please message the admin:

• Match score (e.g., 2–1)

• Replay files for each game

 

What if a player disconnects?

• If it happens within the first 2 minutes: Restart the game

• After 2 minutes: To use the restore game feature.

• Chronic issues may result in disqualification

 

Is casting/streaming allowed?

Yes! If you’re interested in casting or streaming, let the admins know. Observer mode is allowed as long as all players agree.
